This summer from May 31 through Sunday, September 1, the Grainger O'Shea Homeowners Association is hosting our second annual Kids Summer Fishing Tournament at the pond located near 29th & Grainger Parkway.
The fishing tournament is open to youth ages 17 and younger. Measure and weigh your fish at the pond, and then release the fish. If the fish dies, it does not count. A picture of the fish with the child that caught must be submitted with measurements. Everything is on the honor system. Facebook posts are encouraged on our page.
Participants must be living within the Grainger O’Shea Homeowners Association, and household must be current on HOA dues. With parental consent, winner(s) will also have the opportunity to have their picture on our social media pages showing off their prize catch.
Remember, our pond is catch and release only.
You can contact us through our website at graingeroshea.com or email us at graingeroshea@gmail.com. You can also follow us via social media on Facebook @graingeroshea and X (formerly Twitter) @graingeroshea.
On Monday, September 2, we will host a Labor Day luncheon at the pond. We will announce the winners at 12 noon and serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, desert and drinks for the families that are present. Please RSVP with number of people attending, and bring a chair so you can sit and have a place to eat and relax.
